Who we are
iPAT Services Ltd is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact us at info@ipatservices.com, on 01223 441629, or at 13 Matthew Parker Close, Landbeach, Cambridge, CB25 9FB.
Information we collect
When you request a quote, we collect the information you provide: your name, company, industry, email address, telephone number, site postcode, approximate item count, employee count and enquiry details. Name, email and site postcode are required to process the website form; the other information helps us understand your needs. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in your message.
How we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and discuss the service you need. We do not use quote enquiry details for marketing.
For business enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests and providing electrical testing services. Where you request a service for yourself, we use the information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who handles your information
Enquiries are sent to our business email account. Information is handled by the people and service providers involved in managing your quote. These include GoDaddy for website hosting and email delivery, and Microsoft 365 for our email account. We do not share enquiry details beyond those handling the quote and the providers supporting that process.
Our providers may process information in countries outside the UK. Their privacy information explains their processing locations and the safeguards they use: GoDaddy privacy policy and Microsoft privacy statement. Contact us if you need further information about the handling of your enquiry.
How long we keep enquiries
Quote enquiries remain in our email account. We do not currently operate a fixed deletion schedule. When older enquiries are reviewed and are no longer needed to handle a quote, provide a service or retain relevant business records, they are deleted. You can contact us to ask about the information we hold or request its deletion.
Website cookies and technical information
The quote form uses a session cookie to protect submissions against misuse. The form also uses a hashed version of your IP address to limit repeated submissions. Our hosting provider may record technical information, such as IP addresses and page requests, in server logs. This website does not include advertising or analytics tracking scripts.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive information in a portable format where that right applies. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. Contact info@ipatservices.com to make a request.
We do not use enquiry information for automated decisions or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.
Questions or complaints
Please contact us if you have a concern about your information. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
